Sona Area Tokyo – Disaster Prevention Learning Experience
On November 27th, the Hino Women’s Fire Prevention Association went on a training trip to Ariake.
It was an interactive facility where visitors, after watching a movie, would encounter a disaster scenario. Using tablets, they answered quizzes to progress, giving it a game-like feel.
The training on individual preparedness for self-help within the framework of self-help, mutual aid, and public assistance was extremely educational.
We express our gratitude that the training concluded safely under the guidance of Hino Fire Department personnel, including paramedics.
We will apply this knowledge to Hino City’s disaster prevention and mitigation efforts.
