Yasaka Shrine Annual Grand Festival

The Yasaka Shrine Annual Festival was held on September 13th, 14th, and 15th.

My local Hie Shrine also traces its origins to Yasaka Shrine, so I was invited to participate in the shrine rites.

The mikoshi procession on the 14th and the mikoshi parade on the 15th

were powerful, prayers reaching the heavens, and I felt Hino City’s bright future.

I stood at Hino Station for these past three days, and so many people spoke to me, giving me energy.

I will always remain a council member who stays close to you, engaging and conversing with you to reflect your voices in city governance.

While some things can be achieved and others cannot, I am grateful for your courage in speaking up and will address your concerns with sincerity and integrity.
