Hino City Traffic Safety Fair

On September 6, the Hino City Traffic Safety Fair was held in the Small Hall of the Hino Civic Center.

Revisions to the Road Traffic Act concerning bicycles will take effect starting April next year.
While revisions have been made several times in recent years, these changes will be more stringent.

This traffic safety fair featured many bicycle-related booths, and I toured them while receiving explanations.

During this session’s general questioning, I will request that workshops be held to inform citizens about the revised Road Traffic Act. This is especially important for those without licenses (or paper drivers) who may not understand the terminology or fully grasp the rules.
Our goal is not merely stricter laws, but for everyone to ride bicycles safely and eliminate accidents.
Please support us in making this happen!

I even got to meet a cute police officer🩷
