Wakamiya Shrine Annual Grand Festival

On September 6th, the annual grand festival of Wakamiya Shrine, the principal shrine of Toyota, was held.

During the children’s sumo dedication matches, some children cried after losing, while others shrugged it off. Each child’s unique personality was endearing, and we enjoyed watching the matches.

The following day, during the mikoshi procession, parishioners and participants marched through the neighborhood, chanting powerful slogans as they prayed for the peace and prosperity of the Toyota area.

Over the past four years, I have been deeply honored to serve as a city council member for the residents of the neighboring Toyota area.

I will continue to work wholeheartedly and with sincerity to serve you to the best of my ability.
