Japanese Volunteer Teacher Training Course

On September 2, the Japanese Volunteer Teacher Training Course commenced.

I myself can’t speak English properly,

but I’m often invited to parties at various embassies,

and I struggle with the conversation.

I thought those of foreign origin residing in Japan might be facing even greater difficulties, so I applied for this training program.

Currently, there are 4,347 individuals of foreign origin residing in Hino City (as of September 2025).

Looking across the nation, many others are also staying in Japan for work or various personal circumstances.

I take a cautious stance on immigration issues.

However, both we Japanese living today and everyone else sharing this country at the same time, including visitors, equally possess the right to protect and be protected in life.

I hope my learning will be of use not only to citizens but to many people.
