The 28th Hinohi Shinsengumi Festival was held ✨Day 2✨.

This report is about the second day 😊.

On May 11, a festival was held around Hino Station.
The main event of the day was a parade of Shinsengumi troopers.

Mayor Soshi Koga of Hino City and Chairman Masato Okuzumi also participated in the parade, dressed as town magistrates.

In the morning, a brass band of students from Hino City Junior High School participated in the parade, and their live music added color to the parade 🎵.
The parade also featured the Mikoshi (portable shrine) and musical performances, and the citizens of Hino enjoyed a lively and enjoyable time 🌞.

Various organizations participate in the parade, and farmers from JA Tokyo Minami’s Hino Shinsen Vegetable Group have again this year donated basil seedlings 🌿.

It was a very hot and hot day, so we made caprese with basil and tomatoes from Kawabe Horinouchi and drank it with white wine from our sister city, Shiwa, Iwate, which we bought at the festival 🍅🌿🍾✨✨.

Now, the parade is in full swing with the battle cry of “Kachidoki” (victory cry) before the parade!

The parade also featured powerful battle cries from each unit ✨.

The Hino Shinsengumi Festival Executive Committee, various organizations, and government officials combined their efforts to make this year’s festival a great success, attracting many people from the city and beyond ✨.

As a city council member, I will continue to support the festival next year so that it can continue to grow as a festival of our hometown that we can be proud of.

In conjunction with the Shinsengumi Festival, a community center festival will also be held at the same time.

The community center is an important community place where citizens gather. I will continue to support the activities of the community center to make Hino a colorful place for each life.

I also plan to use this festival as an opportunity to become a certified Japanese language instructor. 🇯🇵
