Toward a Comprehensive Partnership Agreement with Japan Post Co., Ltd.

On October 9th, we invited Japan Post Co., Ltd. to Hino City Hall to hear about their food drive initiatives, which are currently under investigation and research by the Environmental Community Development Committee. 🏣✨

Subsequently, city executives gathered for a lecture on Japan Post’s regional revitalization initiatives.
Comprehensive partnership agreements have already been established with 1,546 prefectures/cities, towns, and villages nationwide, covering 90% of all local governments.
Furthermore, 5,245 post offices have been entrusted with local government administrative tasks by 390 prefectures/cities, towns, and villages.
Hino City will also collaborate, utilizing the 17 post offices within the city as various bases to enhance citizen services.
Senior officials also expressed interest in the comprehensive partnership agreements and conveyed the challenges and requests of each department to Japan Post.
We will definitely move forward with discussions on this opportunity.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone from our headquarters and Tokyo branch who traveled from afar to attend, as well as to former Executive Officer Hatsumi Shimizu for his tremendous efforts in organizing this event.
I understand that someone who was immensely helpful during my time in the audit department also assisted behind the scenes, though I cannot mention their name here.
Thank you very much 😊
I am once again filled with pride for having worked at Japan Post.
