Masahito Sato and the Group for Considering Tomorrow’s National Defense

On November 18th, I attended the meeting of the Group for Considering National Defense with Masahito Sato.
During the election six years ago, I served as a campaign volunteer, starting from the Ministry of Defense → heading north → and joining him in making our final appeal in Hokkaido.

The absence of Mr. Masahisa Sato, who steadfastly pursued national defense and unwavering diplomacy, from national politics is a profoundly harsh reality—both as an individual citizen and as a member of the Self-Defense Forces Family Association.

Well, I also took the stage to deliver my remarks. While I too will face re-election next February, I conveyed that I am considering the city’s initiatives regarding “politics that protects those who protect lives.”

What local government can achieve is truly limited, but by connecting with the national, metropolitan, and municipal levels, we can potentially advance issues we had previously given up on.
Drawing on my life experiences, I will do everything possible to value human connections and build a solid administrative foundation.
Furthermore, I will support former House of Councillors member Masahisa Sato, who protects those who protect lives, from my position as a local council member so he can once again play an active role in national politics. Together, we will build a safe and secure nation (Hino City) where people can live with peace of mind.
