Attending the Cancer Cafe

At age 36, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, which taught me anew the preciousness of life and my body.

I am grateful to be alive today 💓

I am grateful to have my uterus today 🩷

It was a peaceful time sharing each other’s feelings about facing cancer, offering encouragement, laughing together, and finding comfort.

Drawing on my own experiences, I will continue to support not only cancer survivors themselves but also the people around them who provide support.

Following that, I held discussions with municipal hospital staff regarding the future direction of our healthcare system.

To rebuild the municipal hospital, we must establish a robust healthcare framework.

Specifically, to fulfill its role as a regional medical support hospital, I believe it is essential to create a core department that integrates not only medical care but also nursing and welfare services into a unified system.

To build a city where residents can live with peace of mind, we will strive to enhance the functions of Hino Municipal Hospital, including addressing financial aspects.
